This was the funniest law suit I've ever hear while I was in law school.

Vokes v. Arthur Murray, Inc., Florida Court of Appeals, 1968 (212 So.2d 906)

Plaintiff Mrs. Audrey E. Vokes, a widow of 51 years and without family, had a yen to be "an accomplished dancer" with the hopes of finding "new interest in life." So, on February 10, 1961, a dubious fate, with the assist of a motivated acquaintance, procured her to attend a "dance party" at Davenport's School of Dancing" where she wiled away the pleasant hours, sometimes in a private room, absorbing his accomplished sales technique, during which her grace and poise were elaborated upon and her rosy future as "an excellent dancer" was painted for her in vivid and glowing colors.

As an incident to this interlude, he sold her eight 1/2-hour dance lessons to be utilized within one calendar month therefrom, for the sum of $14.50 cash in hand paid, obviously a baited "come-on."

Thus she embarked upon an almost endless pursuit of the terpsichorean art during which, over a period of less than sixteen months, she waas sold fourteen "dance courses" totalling in the aggregate 2.302 hours of dancing lessons for a total cash outlay of $31,09045, all at Davenport's dance emporium.

At one point she was sold 545 additional hours of dancing lessons to be entitled to the award of the "Bronze Medal" signifying that she had reached "the Bronze Standard," a supposed designation of dance achievement by students of Arthur Murray, Inc.

Later she was sold an additional 926 hours in order to gain the "Silver Medal," indicating she had reached "the Silver Standard," at a cost of $12,501.35.

At one point, while she still had to her credit about 900 unused hours of instructions, she was induced to purchase an additional 24 hours of lessons to participate in a trip to Miami at her own expense, where she would be "given the opportunity to dance with members of the Miami Studio."

She was induced at another point to purchase an additional 126 hours of lessons in order to be not only eligible for the Miami trip but also to become "a life member of the Arthur Murray Studio," carrying with it certain dubious emoluments, at a further cost of $1,752.30.

At another point, while she still had over 1,000 unused hours of instruction she was induced to buy 151 additional hours at a cost of $2,049.00 to be eligible for a "Student Trip to Trinidad," at her own expense as she later learned.

Also, when she still had more than 1,000 unused hours to her credit, she was prevailed upon to purchase an additional 347 hours at a cost of $4,235.74 to qualify her to receive a "Gold Metal" for achievement, indicating she had advanced to "the Gold Standard."

On another occasion, while she still had over 1,200 unused hours, she was induced to buy an additional 175 hours of instruction at a cost of $2,472.75, to be eligible "to take a trip to Mexico."

Finally, sandwiched in between other lesser sales promotions, she was influenced to buy an additional 481 hours of instruction at a cost of $6,523.81 in order to "be classified a a Gold Bar Member, the ultimate achievement of the dancing studio."

The Moral of the story?

The dance studios had falsely represented to her that she was improving in her dancing ability, that she had excellent potential, that she was responding to instructions in dancing grace, and that they were developing her into a beautiful dancer, whereas in truth and in fact she did not develop in her dancing ability, she had no "dance aptitude," and in fact had difficulty in "hearing the musical beat."

The complaint alleged that such representations to her "were in fact false and known by the defendant to be false and contrary to the plaintiff's true ability, the truth of plaintiff's ability being fully known to the defendants.

It was averred that the lessons were sold to her "in total disregard to the true physical, rhythm, and mental ability of the plaintiff." In other words, while she fist exulted that she was entering the "spring of her life," she finally was awakened to the fact there was "spring" neither in her life nor in her feet.

During December a water faust broke. I had to repair it so that I could continue to use the water for my horses. The Jehovah Witnesses in Klamath Falls, Oregon, insisted on visiting the owner of the home at the back doorway despite warnings of slip and fall accidents and the obvious tell-tale signs of black ice.

On December 28, 2007, I was working to unfreeze a hose and water was all over the concrete. Just that early in the morning, I warned the owner of the home that the situation was dangerous. Coincidently, while struggling to defrost the hose, the Jehovah Witnesses appeared unannounced. This time, the main ordinary Jehovah brought with them a man who was apparently disabled on a cane. It was apparent that I was struggling with the dangerous situation. I again informed the Jehovah that the situation was extremely dangerous during the winter and that maybe they should approach the front of the home where they could "preach" safely and without any disturbances.

The reason I am displaying this message is because the bad people make it difficult with hardships for the good people. Homeowner insurance companies gouge the responsible homeowner because of these kind of instances of stupidity and ignorance. If negligent people want to have slip and fall accidents, the good ones shouldn't have to pay the high prices of insurance increases!

A beautiful blonde lady stepped onto a plane going to L.A. and sat down in first class. The flight attendant proceeded to go around the airplane checking the ticket stubs of each passenger to make sure they were all in the right seats. When she got to the Blonde woman she noticed that it was for Coach seating, not first class. She tells the woman, "You're ticket says coach maam and we have a full flight today. As a disenfranchised American Jew, I have experienced first hand the desire of a "minority of American Jews" who "quietly lay back in 'peace'" while others have been authorized to confiscate and colonize choice real estate sites that I have tried to homestead in the United States. By forceful suppression, my objections go unanswered by claiming I'm "crazy" which has continually left me displaced.

International laws and the ultimate goals of the Roadmap for Peace will never be accepted by Israel because Israel has no concept of peace. The Israel in America is very blithe about the murder of its citizens through the deprivation of their rights and I have a list to prove it to you. The only agenda of Jews are to deprive other vulnerable people their rights to property and a decent citizenship for their own motivation.

The American people would see it as Carter and Gibson see it if the nefarious influence members of Congress exposed governmental entities in America. But they don't. Instead, they allow chaotic, corrupt terrorist-supporting Federal judges, for an excuse, to work governmental entities in America.

If America had better lobbyists to flock to see first hand the methods of madness the American Jews use to treat their own, then maybe they wouldn't be so cynical when Palestinian terrorists blow people to bits in Israel. In particular, they can start with their hands, so that they will never take what does not belong to them.

Does Carter keep track of which schools have lots of Jews? Maybe not, but American Jews certainly know how to keep one from attending them.

What the Americans desperately need is a decent government that is genuinely committed to pursuing peace with its own citizens while letting God purge the "nefarious influence" of the Nephlim bloodlines in Israel.

Complaints were heard almost 2,000 years earlier how Mary Magdalene was a prostitute. She was forced to suffer indignities so that the Jews could extol their own motives and agenda. Panel: Bush Iraq Policy 'Not Working'

WASHINGTON - President Bush's policy in Iraq "is not working," a high-level commission said bluntly on Wednesday, prodding the administration to embrace diplomacy to stabilize the country and allow withdrawal of most combat troops by early 2008.

After four years of war and the deaths of more than 2,900 U.S. troops, the situation is "grave and deteriorating," and the United States' ability "to influence events within Iraq is diminishing," the commission warned in an unsparing report.

It recommended the United States reduce "political, military or economic support" for Iraq if the government in Baghdad cannot make substantial progress toward providing for its own security.

President Bush received the report in an early morning meeting at the White House with commission members. He pledged to treat each proposal seriously and act in a "timely fashion."

He was flanked by the commission's co-chairmen, former Secretary of State James A. Baker III, and former Rep. Lee Hamilton in a remarkable scene - a president praising the work of a group that had just concluded his policy had led to chaos.

"Many Americans are understandably dissatisfied," Hamilton said later at a news conference that marked the formal release of the results of the commission's eight-month labors. "There is no magic bullet," said Baker.

The report painted a grim picture of Iraq nearly four years after U.S. forces toppled Saddam Hussein. It urged Bush to embrace steps he has thus far rejected, including involving Syria and Iran in negotiations over Iraq's future.

It warned that if the situation continues to deteriorate, there is a risk of a "slide toward chaos (that) could trigger the collapse of Iraq's government and a humanitarian catastrophe." "Neighboring countries could intervene. ... The global standing of the United States could be diminished. Americans could become more polarized," commissioners said.

With diplomacy under way, the report said, the U.S. should increase the number of combat and other troops that are embedded with and supporting Iraqi Army units.

"As these actions proceed, U.S. combat forces could begin to move out of Iraq," it said. "By the first quarter of 2008, subject to unexpected developments in the security situation on the ground, all combat brigades not necessary for force protection could be out of Iraq."

More broadly, the commission recommended a renewed push to resolve the Arab-Israeli conflict, saying the United States cannot otherwise achieve its goals in the Middle East.

Baker, Hamilton and the other members of the commission traveled to the Capitol from the White House to present their findings to senior lawmakers. The report makes 79 separate recommendations on Iraq policy.

"If the president is serious about the need for change in Iraq, he will find Democrats ready to work with him in a bipartisan fashion to find a way to end the war as quickly as possible," said Rep. Nancy Pelosi, the California Democrat who is in line to become speaker when the new Congress convenes in January.

The recommendations came at a pivotal time, with Bush under domestic pressure to change course and with the new, Democratic-controlled Congress certain to cast a skeptical look at administration policy.

Additionally, Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld, the architect of the administration's war policy, has resigned. His replacement, Robert Gates, is on track for Senate confirmation this week after a remarkable assessment of his own - that the United States is not winning the war.

Bush has rejected establishing timetables for withdrawing the 140,000 U.S. troops and has said he isn't looking for "some kind of graceful exit out of Iraq."

There was no letup Wednesday in the killing in Iraq, where a mortar attack killed at least eight people and wounded dozens in a secondhand goods market. Police said the shelling was followed closely by a suicide bombing in the Sadr City Shiite district of the capital.

It was the type of violence that has led many to declare that Iraq is in the throes of a civil war - an assessment that Bush has refused to accept.

By whatever name, Baker, Hamilton and the other eight members of the commission said the status quo was unacceptable.

"Violence is increasing in scope and lethality. It is fed by a Sunni Arab insurgency, Shiite militias, death squads, al-Qaida and widespread criminality. Sectarian conflict is the principal challenge to stability," the report said.

Bush said the report "gives a very tough assessment of the situation in Iraq. It is a report that brings some really very interesting proposals, and we will take every proposal seriously and we will act in a timely fashion."

He also urged members of Congress to give serious consideration to the recommendations. "While they won't agree with every proposal, and we probably won't agree with every proposal, it nevertheless is an opportunity to come together and to work together on this important issue," he said.

The commission's recommendation to have U.S. forces embedded with Iraqi units reflects an approach the military already has been emphasizing in recent months. But administration officials say Iraqis are not yet ready to go it alone against the insurgency.

U.S. allies in the region, including the powerful Sunni leadership in Saudi Arabia, say the Arab-Israeli conflict underlies other Mideast problems and that rancor from the impasse makes other issues harder to solve.

The commission recommended that a "diplomatic offensive" be aimed at building an international consensus for stability in Iraq, and that it include every country in the region.

The United States accuses Syria and Iran of bankrolling terrorism and stirring up trouble in the region. The United States has had no diplomatic ties to Iran for nearly three decades, and pulled its ambassador from Syria last year.

Still, the commission said, "Given the ability of Iran and Syria to influence events within Iraq and their interest in avoiding chaos in Iraq, the United States should try to engage them constructively."

Ahead of the report's release, the White House said it would consider talking to Iran and Syria if the commission recommended it.

Yet the administration's overall tone has been one of skepticism about reaching accommodation with Tehran and Damascus. Administration officials have suggested there is more to lose than to gain by rewarding Iran and Syria with high-profile discourse with American diplomats, and warn that Iran in particular could try to use contact with U.S. officials to gain leverage in ongoing separate diplomacy over its nuclear program. As a result of becoming weary of battling the abuse of power, the American degradation was causing me to physically tear my face a part in order to fit in and accept the personality distortion the U.S. government slandered and libeled me with.

At an instance, I went to my local Kmart to buy something that would clear up my complexion. I asked the pharmacist whether hydrogen peroxide would cause scarring on my face. Her face appeared blank. I had a life once and I remember my girlfriends and I would go out of the way to really pamper our complexions. I reasoned with the pharmacist and told her that I could no longer afford Clinque. A simple question for a 50 cent bottle of hydrogen peroxide became a major issue. She passed me to another pharmacist who could not answer the femine questions of facial complexion maintenance. Finally, a man pharmacist came to the window. He implied that he was a "dermatologist" and that he could answer the question.
